We're looking for work that engages the viewer with the brand; ads that viewers actively choose to watch. We want to help inspire a new generation of longer format ads - ads that are 60 seconds or longer.
This year, a judging panel made up of industry experts including creative agencies, clients and media agencies will get together to judge the best 60' copy from each quarter. Held at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden, each session will be hosted by a film or TV director who began their career in advertising.
At the end of the year, we aim to have the best 12 longer length ads of 2008. The overall winner will then be decided by the Film4 viewer, to be announced early next year. The winning ad will be shown on Film4 within its own branded break and with an introduction and commentary from the director.
