Results from the latest Propeller
Wave 129 December 2011The latest wave of Propeller asked respondents about their new year's resolutions.
Research from the Propeller panel found that:
- 53% of people have made a new year’s resolution, and 61% of females have
- 10% of people always make a resolution, 21% usually do and 65% sometimes do. Only 5% of people never do
- Over half of people abandon their new year’s resolution after a month
- 50% of people have made the same resolution in consecutive years, with women more likely to than men
- Losing weight, getting fit, eating more healthily and saving money/spending less are the most popular resolutions across the board
- A quarter of women want to spend more time with family/friends
- A fifth of people want a new job
