Quarter one of 2011 was E4's best ever for young viewers, with the youth entertainment channel clocking up an impressive 4.8% share of 16-34s.
This beat the previous best of 4.7% in quarter two 2009, and was up 12% from quarter one 2010.
E4 remains the top digital channel for 16-34s and is now ahead of terrestrial competitors BBC Two (4.21%) and Channel 5 (4.0%) with this key audience. The youth entertainment channel continues to out perform its main digital competitors ITV2 (3.8%) and BBC Three (2.9%) in terms of share of 16-34s.
E4 has an impressive 16-34 profile of 49% - the purest young profile out of the top 20 channels.
E4 was also up 6% for individuals in quarter one, with a share of 1.8%.
