Channel 4 is bringing back Undercover Boss for a fourth series and ordered a further 60 episodes of daytime favourite Four in a Bed, both made by Studio Lambert.
Undercover Boss continues to be a ratings success and the last series, which aired in over the summer, attracted an average of 3 million viewers.
Channel 4 Factual Entertainment Commissioning Editor, Dominique Walker, said: "I'm delighted to commission another series of Undercover Boss. The last series delivered some of the strongest episodes we've ever made and it continues to combine genuinely jaw-dropping revelations of bad practice while rewarding the unsung employees who are beavering away inside every business."'
The last series of Four In A Bed, in which four sets of proud B&B owners compete to see which one provides the best value for money, averaged just under 2 million in the 5pm slot. The third series will be on air in October and Channel 4's Head of Daytime, Helen Warner, has just ordered a further 60 episodes for next year.
Helen Warner, said: "Four in a Bed has established itself as a star of the daytime schedule and we look forward to its return."
Studio Lambert chief executive, Stephen Lambert, said: "We're delighted that both these formats are working so well for Channel 4. Undercover Boss has become a hugely successful format worldwide, and Four in a Bed is now being produced in several territories." Both formats are distributed by All3Media International.
